From humble beginnings in a small weatherboard building, the school has grown in successive generations through the construction of a two-storey brick building, two single-storey brick buildings and a hall.
Through the Building the Education Revolution funding provided by the Federal Government in 2009, the hall has been refurbished, four classrooms have been enhanced by the inclusion of moveable walls and wet areas, and the Administration building was been rebuilt to provide more office space, a sickbay, an interview room and a larger staffroom.
The students have access to four playground areas, two of them concrete and two grass areas, one of which contains a large sandpit. The Playground Committee of the P&F is responsible for several improvements over the last ten years, including the sandpit, outdoor chalkboards, a vegetable garden and flower gardens. Regular working bees keep these facilities in good condition.
